Life is the Bubbles...
This is most certainly true at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! A few weeks ago my family and I took a trip under the sea in the Little Mermaid rooms on property. We had originally been placed in the cars room, but we called over close to about two weeks before our trip to see if anything else was available--and it was! yay! I suggest always checking in with our cast to see if there is any extra pixi dust available to make some wishes come true.
Immediately walking into the Little Mermaid area you will be greeted with larger than life statues of some of our favorite friends and their erm..what do you call them again? Oh! thingamabobs!

We absolutely loved the interior design of the rooms. From friends like flounder and eric adorning the walls..to stepping into the sea with Ariel in the shower. The imaginers really make your trip under the sea a magical one. If you or a loved one are a fan of the little mermaid HIGHLY suggest booking a mermaid room for your trip.

Now for the resort as a whole:
The location is WONDERFUL. You're about 15 minutes from the Magic Kingdom, but about 5-10 from Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We couldn't believe how quick it was! Not to worry, there are buses to and from the resorts every 20 minutes. They are very dependable! Always be sure to look on the bus directory to remember where you can meet back with your bus after your day in the parks. The only issue we had was probably the distance between the Mermaid area and the buses. The buses pick up directly in front of the entrance to the resort. The mermaid rooms are the furthest set from there. Then its the lion king area, the finding nemo area is center, and then the cars rooms. So if you don't want a 5-10 minute walk every morning, check out the cars or nemo rooms!

Some TIPS:
- Refillable mugs are GREAT, fill up in the morning with coffee, water or soda in the cafeteria
disclaimer: contrary to popular belief, you can't refill in the parks for free.
-take advantage of the dining plan, a lot of the "meals" at the resort are considered snacks. For example, I got a smoothie bowl with granola and fruit and that was a "snack."
-Bring lots of cute outfit options, there are endless amounts of picture opportunities. Don't waste time in the parks with Disney walls, there's about four our five just at the resort.
-Have FUN! Enjoy this amazing resort, for us it was a 10/10.
I've added a highlight on my Instagram stories as well for you all to get a better idea of what it was like walking through it.
Hope this helps give some insight on the resort's amenities and design. Hakuna Matata!
