Hi friends!
So I've obviously been super MIA to this blog and I've been really bummed about that, BUT I'm back and gearing up for a new trip. So that means: ALOT OF NEW POSTS. (Yay) I'm going on a trip to Cancun in a few weeks so that will be coming soon. I'll post about the whole experience and any advice I can give you guys for a proper Mexican vacation. but the BIG trip I'll be going on is back to Europe with my best friend at the end of May. We'll be heading to Germany, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy, Paris & London. Ahh , can I just leave now?! A girl can wish. It's going to be a great year of TRAVEL , so stay tuned. ❤ For now I've written a bit about flights && the best tips I have for buying them. Check it out!

Flights
I remember feeling so much anxiety and yet so much excitement on my first flight. It was a long one, ten & a half hours to beautiful London. I spent so much time looking up flights for better prices and no layovers. This is no small task. As I'm gearing up for Europe this time, the challenge is here again. So after ALOT of searching here's what i found:
A one way flight from LAX to Hamburg, Germany (10 hours w/ a layover in Amsterdam) for $295. Okay a lot of you are probably saying "WHAT?!" I found this deal because of experience and diligent, & I mean diligent searching. There's a secret to the madness.
-Look for your flights super late at night, like 2am. Flights will be cheaper.
-when you look for flights on a Wednesday, they tend to be much less. (Why? I have no idea, but it works!)
-if you're a student, look on websites that offer deal for students ex.) StudentUniverse. --this is where I found my flight to Germany, they rock.
-check out several sites, not just one. Sometimes other airlines charge a lot more for baggage and carryons so it ends up being more expensive.
-READ THE FINE PRINT. Some airlines charge a lot for cancellations or changes. Be diligent before you book it.
-either book your flights super far in advance, or two weeks before. This is when prices are the lowest. I've tested this!
That's all I have for you for now--but for more tips, stay tuned!
