I thought a fun post would be to share a place I've never been to in the US but hope to go to soon. One place that I am absolutely dying to go to in this world is New York. There is just something about the city that never sleeps that just calls my name. I mean who doesn't want to have Breakfast at Tiffany's or take a stroll through Central Park? I know I do. Holly Gollightly l-o-v-e-d New York so there must be something pretty special there. . I'm also a big musical enthusiast so seeing Broadway is definitely up there on my Bucket List. I'm a performer at heart and what better place to immerse myself in the theater culture than New York? It honestly gives me chills just thinking about seeing Wicked or Rent on Broadway. How amazing would it be to say you've done that? I know a lot of people have been there before but I've never had the time or money. After spending four months in Europe I'm more motivated then ever to get there. I'm so interested to see what the city is like in comparison to LA & London. I've heard that New York is a lot like London so I'm excited to see how so in terms of culture and fashion. It will be nice to be in a place that reminds me of my second home.I've had a few bumps lately in saving money unfortunately, but I will get there. Life happens, but you should never give up on your goals. Keep saving & don't give up. I have no doubt in my mind that I'll be standing in Times Square in no time. A few things I would like to see & do are:
-Central Park
-Empire State Building
-9/11 Memorial
-Visit the house where Breakfast at Tiffany's was filmed
-Broadway Theater District
-Statue of Liberty
-Try out NY Metro System
-Central Perk; Friends
-SOHO
-Upper East Side; XoXo Gossip Girl ;)
-Brooklyn
-Times Square
-Have Breakfast at Tiffany's
-Ice Skating in Central Park
-Radio City Music Hall
I'm sure there are plenty more as New York is a city full of endless possibilities..If any of you have been there and have any tips on where to go, cheap deals, etc. please comment below! Hopefully I can visit soon and share with you all my experiences! I'd love to see where everyone else has never been so now it's your turn.
